Semillas Matemáticas
The Semillas Matemáticas project, Exploring Family Math Engagement and Early Math Skills in Latine Head Start Families aims to examine how caregivers’ beliefs and everyday practices support children’s emerging math skills and how bilingualism might shape these experiences. Findings will be shared with families and educators through bilingual workshops and materials that highlight culturally grounded ways to support early math learning at home. This project is funded by a grant from the Heising-Simons Foundation.
